BOXING
WALLSEND TOURNAMENT. Already fifty nominations have been received bv the Wallsend Amateur Athletic Club for its boxing tournament at Wallsend on Saturday, October 31, which would indicate that a highly successful evening’s entertainment is assured. Reefton, Totara Flat, Brunner and Wainta nominations have been received and several more will be forthcoming from Greyniouth and Hokitika. A special challenge bout will see T. Hoggarth and Thurlow matched, this pair providing a great contest at Reefton on Saturday night last.
