BURSTING BALLOONS
IN FOOTBALL CROWDS. IS INJURED BY FLAMES. (Received October 19, at 7.5 p.m.) SAN PRANCISCK), October 19. Eighteen persons were injured, three seriously, when fifty gas-filled balloons burst with a great sheet of flame, at a football stadium. The balloons, which were carrying political slogans, first swirled down on the crowd. A cigarette ignited one, which detonated tho rest.
