CRITIC OF JELLICOE
WAS HE A FIGHTER? (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) LONDON, October 15. Herbert Wilson, in. a critical review published in flic “Daily Mail,” slates: Jellicoe. at .Jutland, had great numerical superiority over the Germans, but more than once he deliberately declined to fight to a finish. We are left to wonder whether the war might not have been ended in 1916 if the, German Fleet had been destroyed, and this had been followed by a victory on Ihe Somme.
