Cabinet has issued a statement..presumably in reference to the Jarrow marchers and other marches to London, that these are undesirable in a country governed by the Parliamentary system, and cannot be encouraged. Ministers cannot receive deputations of marchers, though the}' are always prepared to meet members of the Commons. Marchers Carry On TO PRESENT PETITION. BLIND MEN COMING FROAI WALES. (Received October 15, at 8.5 p.m'.) LONDON October 14. The Jarrow unemployed marchers are carrying on. They say that they do not intend to seek any interview with the Prime Alinister. They merely w'sh to present their petition. There are twenty blind’ marchers, who. with their arm's linked, are tapping their way from South Wales to London. They also refuse to return. They will meet two hundred and fifty other Watford marchers. The marchers plead for the .State control of all the blind welfare services.
