EAST END TENSION Fascist Building Set on Fire (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) LONDON, October 13. Symptomatic of the acute tension in the East End. two men dashed up in a motor-car to the Fascislt headquarters in Bethnal Green, at 3 a.m., and showered paratin on the front door,, to iwhich they set fire, and decamped. A man trying to intercept them was hit on the head with a spanner. A family of three occupying the top floor were rescued by neighbours. The. damage done 'was slight. COMMUNIST PARTY.
