The holders of over twelve million pounds of Government four per cent, stock which is domiciled in New Zealand, are advised by a supplementary Gazette notice, signed by lion. W. Nash v and dated October 8, 1936, issued th's afternoon, that the securities will be repaid, at par. on January 15 next, together with the interest for Die half-year ending on the samel date. The interest on the securities wd'l then cea.se. • The maturity date of this loan 5s January 15, 1940. with the option of repayment at par on or after Jami arv 15 1937,. on three months’ notice. To-morrow 'was to have been the last day on which thn requisite three months’ notice could be g.ven to the holders of the stock. The total amount of 'the loan outstand'ng is £12.420.675. of wh'ch £12.325.550 is domiciled in New Zealand, an,] £lOl 125 in London.
