The “.Morning Post’s” diplomatic correspondent says: The Belgian Government is planning a. policy which may fundamentally affect the Western Pact negotiations. Belgium, it is now stated, will not subscribe to a new Locarno agreement, but she will suggest the following proposals as a.n alternative to a new Locarno Fact. Firstly: Belgium is to undertake to protect her own territory aga'nst foreign aggression. Secondly: Britain to undertake to come to 'be immediate assistance of Belgium in the event of such aggiession . The Belgian policy, thus is based on the principle of neutrality and it L emphasised that the integrity of Belgium is also the. best guarantee of British secur’ty. _______
