PALESTINE
STRIKE ENDING CELEBRATED. JERUSALEM, October 12. Thousands of Arabs dressed in their best finery gathered at the Omar mosque for special prayers on the occasion of ending the strike. They wildly cheered the Grand Mufti. The whole city is filled with smiling faces. The calling off of the strike coincides with the arrival, of the. last hatch of British reinforcements.
