(Our Own Correspondent). REEFTON, October 12. Messrs C. Coxa 11 and N. Alborn left on Friday evening for Christchurch, by private car, but on reaching Aicken's, the road was found to be impassable. and they had to return to ReeTton. Mrs L.'inc. of (.'hristehiire.il, has arrived in Reef too, to be present at the silver wedding celebrations of Mr and Mrs T. Dellaea. Air J. Dellaea., of the Bank of Now Zealand, Ashburton, arrived on Saturday night on a brief visit to his parents. Air Justice Page, and (he assessors of the Arbitration Court, who were delayed in Reef ton, owing to the blockage in the Buller Gorge, left yesterday for Westport, via Gre.ymoutli nnd the Coast Road. The League junior football match, the final of the O'Donnell Cup, arranged for yesterday afternoon, did not eventuate. The Mawheraiti team arrived about- an hour late and rain was falling heavily, hence the decision not to play.
