Thei'e is a new typhoon now travelling north north-easi, 450 miles east of Northern Luzon. This has come after a terrific storm, one of tiie <leadliest in the Philippines in history. The storm occurred over tho weekend. The storm killed 5400 people. There are also 4:1 missing, and tne communications are crippled. ■Contacts have not been renewed, but the authorities fear that heavy casualties have occurred also at Arayat, San Simon, Candaya, San Luis and Apakit, all in Pomanga province. Owing to the typhoon, the United States China Clipper plane at Wake Island, watched the course of the new storm, and has delayed its flight to Guam for one day. It is believed that tho new typhoon will miss the Philipyunes, and will strike Southern Japan.
