SYDNEY WOOL SALES. (Aus. & N.Z Cable Assn.) SA Z DNEY. October 12. At to-day’s wool sales 12.443 bales were offered, 11.554 were sold and 1831 were privately sold. Yorkshire, France and Germany operated freely, with useful support from Australian mills. Better class fleece wools and good skirtings were in keen request and were 21 to 5 per cent, higher. All other descriptions ruled fully firm. Greasy merino sold to 21]cl. The average price last week was £l7 2s Id per bale and 13.1 d per lb.
