BIG RIVER GOLD MINES. Big River Mine report for the week ending sth October, 1936, stated.—No. 3 level: The vcntTafiou airway down o No. 4 level is under repair. No. -1 level; Stoping is proceeding in the south stope, which is still maintaining its width of ore. Stoping is proceeding in rhe centre stope. The reef in this face is split up into stringers, but is carrying fair values. No work has been done for the period in the north end. No. 5 level; Extended 24 feet for week, making a total of 162 feet driven from main shaft. Repairs to main shaft at No. 1 level have been e.ffev.ted during fl?,, week-end.
