ARAB STRIKE
Leaders Call PGR ITS CESSATION. (Received October 11, at 7 p.m.) JERUSALEM, October 10. The Arab Higher Commit.teo has decided to call off the Palestine strike on Monday. Identical messages from four Arab rulers, namely, Wahabi, King of Iraq; the King of Yemen; and the Emir of Trans Jordan, advising the Palestine Arabs to end the strike, will be published to-morrow, with an appeal by the Higher Arab Committee, that the advice should be accepted, with effect on Monday, It is understood tliQ rulers recommend the Arabs, in their own interest, to cease the struggle without delay, thc rulers trusting fo Britain’s fairness and good intentions. (Received October 11, at 7.30 p.m.) JERUSALEM, October 11.
The Arab Committee is publishing a manifesto to-day, which declares the Arabs struck owing to the denial of their political rights, thus proving an alteration policy of the IP-ales-t'nc is essential. But now realising beneficial results from the Arab rulers’ intervention, it calls on the Arabs to cease striking and unrest.
