Revue Company: All arrangements have been completed. for the Granity-Hector Revue Company’s, benefit concert, which will be held on Friday night next, October 9, at Seddonville, the proceeds being in aid of the Alok.h:nm Women’s Institute and Plunke-t Society. From advice received, there has been a record response with the sale of tickets, and with fine weather prevaUing, there will be a bumper house. A da.ne-e will follow the concert. The Granity concert (change of programme), under the auspices o! the Granity R.S.A., takes place o> Friday, October 30. Bishop’s Visit: A largo gathering of the residents assembled at the v-.carage on the oc cas'.on of the visit of his Lordship the Bishop of Nelson. A very cordial welcome 'was extended to him. On hi.-, arrival, the Granity Silver Band (Con duc-t-or A. Coe) p'ayed a. programme of music. The Bishop thanked the band and |he gathering for the hearty welcome accorded him.
