World-wide sorrow is expressed at the loss of the famous airman, Campbell Black. Lord Swinton, in a telegram of sympathv to Mrs. Black, who is wellknown as the actress. Florence Desmond, says: “Your husband’s career was worthy of the best traditions of British aviation, and his loss will be universally deplored.’’ . M. Pierre Cot, French Minister of Air, in a telegram to the Air Ministry expressed in the name of French aviation and himself personally, the deepest sympathy for the cruel blow to British aviation, hy the death ot a great figure in world aviation.
