New Treaties URUGUAY, GERMANY & RUSSIA. (Aust. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received August 13, at 11.35 p.m.) NEW YORK. August 12. The Ottawa correspondent of the New York “Times.” has announced that Canada has signed a trade treaty with Uruguay, providing for the exchange of the most favoured nation treatment. The Canadian preferences to the British Empire and the Uruguayan preferences to her bordering States are exempted. It is also intimated that the now ■treaties with Germany and Russia are in progress of negotiation by Canada.
