DIVERS DROWNED

PEARLING MISHAP. (Aust & N.Z. Cable Assn.) DARWIN. August 6. The pearling fle<*t, which has returned to Darwin, reports (he disappearance of two Japanese divers. They were wearing only a helmet ami corselet and flannels, and were being towed along the sea bed. in water 22 fathoms deep, when an accident occurred. The divers signalled that they were about to gather shell. There were no further signals from them, and when the life-lines were hauled in, the
