WEDDING

QUINN—HIGNETT. Th ( > marrage was celebrated at St. Patrick's Church, Greymouth. yesterday morning of Ethol Joyce, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs A. E. Higirett, Karoro, and Edward Michael son of Mr and Mrs E. Quinn, Tamui St reel. The ceremfony was performed by Rev. Father A. Gregory, who also celebrated Nuptial Mass. The hr’de, who was escorted by her father, wore a saxe blue chiffon velvet frock, relieved with silver, with picture hat to tone. She carried a sheaf of freez'.as, orchids and arbutilions. Miss Mary Quinn, sister of the bridegroom, as bridesmaid, was attired' in a frock of mulberry chiffon velvet, and Leghorn hat to tone. She ecarried a sheaf of primroses, narc'ssi and maidenhair ■jfern. Mr T. O’Connor carried out the duties of best man. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the residence of the bride’s parents, where Mrs Hignctt rece'ved the guests wearing a nigger brown georgette frock, with a coat of the same shade, and a felt hat. to match. She carried a bouquet of. A'ut'umn finis. Mrs Quinn, mother of the bridegroom, wore a violet chiffon velvet frock under a squ’rrel fur coat. Iler black straw hat was trimmedwith violet, to tone, and she curried a bouquet of mauve anemones and violets. Mr and Mrs E. M.
