WARATAHS BEAT P. AND T. Playing at Reefton yesterday, the Greymouth Post and Telegraph team in a friendly match w.th Wbratahs, were defeated by 26 points to nil. WEST COAST S.I. NOMINEES. Messrs. T. P. Ryan, T. Mclntosh and D. R. Dowell, West Coast selectors, have nominated R, R. King (forward), G. D. Gilbert (full-back) and W. Mann (three-quarter), for inclusion in tho South Island team to play' the North Island, at Christchurch, on August 15. The Greymouth team chosen to meet South Westland at Greymouth on Saturday- next, prior to the selection of players for special training in view of Seddon and Ranfurly Shield matches, will train at the United Pavilion at 7.30 to-night. CHRISTCHURCH. August 3.
