BUCHAREST, June 14

Tn accordance with the previous arrangements, the Chief of Staffs of the Czecho-Slovak'mn «nd Yugoslav armies, accompanied by representatives of the principal sections, have arrived to begin a five days’ conference at the co-

ordination of the Little Entente’s defences.

The problems being discussed include* unification of armaments and the establishment of new armament works in Rumania and Yugo-Slavia, which will co-operate with the Czechoslovakian factories. The convocation of the conference is regarded in diplomatic circles as an indication of the seriousness with which the Little Entente views the situation in conseque*nco of the weakening of the League, and the breakdown of collective security.
