Collision in U.S.A. Waters
U.S.A. VESSEL SUNK. (Received May 4. 5-5 p.m.) NEW YORK. May 3. The freight ship Canadian Planter collided with the BrTish freighter, City of Auckland, in :i fog in Nan tucket' Sound early this morning. The Planter sank almost immediately. .Thirty-live of the crew of the Planter were safely token :il>oard the City of Auckland, which was not seriously damaged.
