DAVIS DEFEATS LINDRUM. LONDON, May 2. In the snooker championship Davis beat Lindrum 34/27, retaining the title, after a great struggle, in which he took the lead for the second time in the match during the afternoon, and, playing magnifieiently, xvas victorious in all six games at the evening session.
