The first instalment‘>of the Emergency Unemployment Charge of 8d in the £ on income other than salary or wages derived during the year ended 31st March, 1936, also falls due on the same date. It. is essential that a declaration of such income be furnished during May by males (including Natives) who have attained the age of twenty years, and women (including Native women), whose income other than salary or wages is in excess of £5O. Full information and declaration forms are obtainable at all Moneyorder Offices. Persons who fail to furnish declarations as and when requjßpd render themselves liable, on sunjrnary conviction, to a fine of £5O A penalty equal toglO per cent, of the amount of tax due will be added to any instalment not paid within one mouth of the due date.
