ARGO DREDGE RETURN. The. Argo Dredge last week secured a return of 42 ounces from 11,000 yards of material, in 93 hours. jUOS.vY CREEK RETURN. The Mossy Creek Dredge last week secured a return of 28 ounces 10 dwts. from 12,528 yards of material, m 129 hours. WORKSOP DREDGE RETURN. The Worksop Dredge this week secured a return of 27 ounces, from 10.000 yards, in 132 hours. MAORI GULLY RETURN. The Maori Gully Dredge, since the Easter holidays, has worked 217 hours for a return of 44 ozs. 17 dwls. of gol . promising reef found in inangahua. Considerable interest has been aroused in the Reefton district, by the dis covery of a promising gold-bearing reef in the vicinity of the Globe Mme. The. Messfrs McGeady Bros, and McLaughlin Bros., loriniiig a party of four, have been prospecting m the. district for some lime, under the Government subsidy scheme, and tneir success is well merited. Preliminary assays, it is stated, show that the quartz carries gold to the value oi 34 ozs. to the ton. It is to be hoped the find turns out as well as the present prospect indicates, tis it will give • great fillip to the mining industry in the district.
