WHARF ACCIDENT. (Per Press Association■>. NEW PLYMOUTH, April 17. Caught between two rakes of trucks on the Moturoa wharf last night, E. Shaw. St. Aubyn Street, watersideworker, received two extensive gashes to the right thigh. After attention, tho injured man was admitted, to the hospital. His condition to-day was satisfactory. . This is the second accident within a month, that watersiders have received leg injuries by being struck by trucks. W. Lowrie was hit as he was walking to work on March 17, and his left leg had to bo amputated. COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS. WELLINGTON, April 17. The 23rd. annual conference of the Travellers’ Warehousemen’s. Association was opened this morning by the Governor-G<'neral.
