The Harbour Office lust evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 20ft 3in. The Hganui arrived yesterday morning from Foxton, and sailed again in the afternoon, with coal for return. The Poolta arrived yesterday mornning from Auckland, and is to sail to-night for return. The Te Aroha arrived yesterday morning from Wellington, with cargo, and-is to proceed to Hokitika to-day. The Kaimiro' is due to-morrow from Wellington., to load for Miramar, Wellington, and Miramar. The Kaimai is due on February IS from Westport, to complete for Miramar and Wellington. The Inaha is due on Saturday from Wellington to load for New Pl? mouth. ’ The Waimea leaves Wellington on Saturday, being due at Greymouth on February 17 to load timber for Miramar and Petone. The James Cook is due about February 18 from Auckland to load timber for Melbourne, Sydney, and Newcastle. The Kiwitea is due about the end of this month from Sydney and Mm bourne, with Greymouth cargo, via Auckland. The Rata left Bluff on Monday night via Timaru, Dunedin. Nelson, and Westport, and is due here on February 17, -io load for Tarakohe.
