COCHET IN THE NORTH. (Per Press Association). WHANGAREI, - February U Henri' Cochet and his companions were seen" in action on the local tennis courts this afternoon. There was a good attendance of the public, who were impressed by the play of the famous Frenchman.
The following will represent the St. Columba team in their match against St. Mary’s (Hokitika), to be played at Hokitika on February 16th: Men. T. Anisy, C. Anisy, D. O’Sullivan, F. Saunders, M. Kelly, C. O’Connor. Ladies: Mrs T. Dargan, Mrs T. Kiely, Misses M. Quinn, S. MeSherry, E. Sequin, T. {Bellamy. If any player is unavailable, kindiv inform the Secretary immediately.
