One of the chief reasons for Germany’ s Jewish legislation is the neces sity of combating Bolshevism, declared Herr Hitler, dn an interview. “This legislation is not anti-Jewish, but proGerman. ’ ’ He added that nearly all of the Bolshevik agitators in Germany had bee n Jews. Moreovle.r, he said, the Jews had so overcrowded the professions that many highly-educated Germans were forced to take such jobs as street cleaners and chauffeurs in order to exist. “It became necesarry,” he said, “to tend thiis Jewish destructiveness, and to establish a clear, clean division between the two races.”
