PURSUANT to Section 10 of The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, IT IS HEREBY PUBLICLY NOTIFIED that the Greymouth Borough Council desires to obtain the consent of the ratepayers of the Cobden area of the Borough of Greymouth to raise a Special Loan under “The Local BodiesAct, 1926.” (a) The Special Loan is required for the purpose of providing a highpressure water supply system in the Cobden Area of the Borough of Greymouth. (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed is eight thousand pounds (£8000). (e) The proposed security for such Special Loan is a Special Rate of four decimal nought four nought nought six seven pence (4.040067 d in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the Cobden Area of the Borough of Greymouth to provide for the interest at a rate not. exceeding three pounds ten shillings (£3/10/-) per centum per annum and a sinking fund of two pounds (£2) per centum per annum thereon.
