The West' Coast League Centre wrote asking the Association to endeavour to close business premises this afternoon from 2.30 ti'l 4.20 p.m.. on the occasion of the Auckland-West Coa.it league match. The chairman said that if action was taken at that stage it m’ght be the cause of bursting the whole Association «P- There was nothing to prevent anyone who wanted to close todav, doing so. Re "erring to the canvass, the chair man said that' they could consider the report of Mr Ne’son in a fortnight. The subscription was so low that business people ought to join.
