UNION MEETING. At the Management Committee meeting of the West Coast Rugby Union last evening, Mr. A. A. Adams presided. The United Club were granted the \ reclassification from senior to junior of W. Blair and A. Hopkinson, and Cobden Club the re?lnssification of \I. Keith from senior to junior. An application for re-admission to the code was ordered to be lorwarded to the New Zealand Union with a favourable recommendation. A cheque for £134 4s Id was received from the .Marlborough Union. It was decided to reply stating that, in both Seddon Shield matches at Greymouth with Marlborough, -he only deduction made was for referees’ expenses, and that the amusement tax was paid out of the local Union’s share. It was also decided therefore to apply to Marlborough Union for half of the gross gate, or for refund of the proportion of tax, paid by the W.C.R.U. The Karamea Sub-Union wrote asking for a game on Angus l 24 or later. It was decided to reply stating that it was not possible for the Gieymouth team to play a return match, but if a match were desired at G r eym»»uth, it could be arranged for Ater on.
