WORKER’S FALL. (Per Press) Association) AUCKLAND, August 13. Injuries to the head which proved fatal shortly afterwards, were received by Frank Lock, aged 53, married, as the result of falling about ten feet from some scaffolding on which he was working in the cellar of the Lion Brewery Newmarket this afternoon. Lock, who .lived at’ Mount Eden, suffered a fracture of the base of the skull. He was an employee of New Zealand Breweries, Ltd. Lock was engaged in white-washing the ceiling of the cellar when 'the accident occurred. ANOTHER FATAL FALL. CHRISTCHURCH. August 13. Falling from a ladder while engaged on renovating work on a house, ®. M. Ford, of Riecarton, suffered injuries to'the head from which he died later in the hospit'al.
