At an executive meeting of the Greymouth Returned Soldiers’ Association there were presents, Messrs. A. H. MeKane (chairman), P. G. Willis, G. Batty, G. Gilbert, W. E. Pring, H. Herring and delegates from Lake BrunAhaura and Brunner sub-branches. An applications for assistance for a Runanga member was referred to the Patriotic Society. Several matters submitted by the delegates of the subbranches were discussed and explained by the president. It was decided that any application for assistance must come through the respective subbranch. The chairman stated that no oalance sheets had been received from any of the sub-branches, and suggested that they be sent in to the Grey Executive, with a complete list of members.
