DUNOLLIE MEETING. Th? Dunollie Whippet C'ub held a very successful meeting at Steel’s Park, Dunollie, yesterday afternoon, in perfect weather. The racing was keen and close finishes were the order of the day. Results were:— Open Handicap: G. Powell’s Dundee 1, J. Sweeney’s Orion 2. Time 12 1-5.* Also started: Jack-a-Dandy, Afountain Buck, Lenin, Britomartis. Blargowrie, Suoav Belle, Grand Mix, Caliente. Lightweight Handicap: Mrs. DalzeT’s Eight-Stone-Eight 1, J. Guy’s Cloudy Sky 2. Also started: Winavis, Mintie, Te Kooti, Gay Sister. Time 12 1-5. Novice Handicap: G. Kendrick’s Pal o’ Mine and T. Cole’s Stuck-Up, dead ’heated in the final. Pal o’ Aline Avinning the run-off. Also started: Mountain Lion, Miss Orion, Te Kooti. Stellar Gold. Winavis. Blondie, Willie Derby. Time 12 4-5. Open hurdles: Airs. O’Neill’s Caliente 1. G. Powell’s Dundee 2. Also started: Orion. Pretty Peter, Jonah, Red Flyer, Windsor Lass. Middleweight Handicap: Kell’s and Chunn’s Britomartis 1, Mrs. Dalzell’s Mountain Rose 2. Mountain Rose and Nova Belle dead-heated for second, the former winning the run-off, Also started: Pretty Peter, Blondie, Blargowrie, Jonah. Time 12 2-5.
