The Harbour Board last evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 22ft 4in. The. .Tames Cook returned from Westport, where she had been awaiting the moderation of the Grey bar. but was again unable to berth.' She will probably berth on ’his morning’s tide, to load timber for Brisbane. The Te Aroha is to sail to-day for Hokitika, to load for The Gael will sail this morning : t bar conditions permit, tor Hokitika, thence Okuru, if the bar there is workable. The Kartigi sails when the bar is workable, for Miramar. Wellington. Auckland and Portland. The Karepo sails when the bar is workable for Melbourne and Adelaide The Kanna is due to-day from Westnort to complete loading for Wellington. Gisborne. Napier, and New Plymouth. The Alexander is due this morning from Pieton. to load coal for Dargaville. She is Ifo sail again to-day. The Kaitoa is due this morning from Wellington, via Westport, with general cargo. After discharge, she xvin load timber for Petone. The Titoki left Tarakohe yesterday afternoon for Westport and Greymouth. She is due to-nighH, Io load coal for Gisborne. The Abel Tasman is due "to-day from Dunedin, to load timber for Australia. Tho Kaimiro left Lyttelton on Monday for Tarakohe, Westport and Greymouth. She is due to-day to complete for Auckland. Tho Totara leflt Dunedin last evening. with cargo for Greymouth. Sho is due on Monday to load for New Plymouth. The Kiwi tea is due on Monday to to load for Wellington and Miramar.
