Quite the most outstanding of Jack Hulbert’s many breezy* and laughable comedies is his latest film for Gainsborough. “The Camels Are Coming”, the other feature. Jack has scored a big success in the past as a policeman and a sailor, and now in “The Camels Are Coming” he becomes SquadronLeader Jack Campbell, arriving in Egypt in charge of ton aeroplanes bought by the Egyptian Government to assist in fighting ever-active smugglers. The fun begins straightaway with the opening scenecs and continues with a crescendo movement to the climax which is a positive riot.
