A MAN ACCUSED. (Received August 8. at 7.25 p.m.) SYDNEY. August 8. Mention of the robbery yesterday 1 was ma.de in the Police Court when Kenneth Charles O’Connell, 31, plasterer. was charged with having stolen £690, th-* properly of John Wilson. Detective Boswell s«iid it had been •stated defendant and Wilson, when carrying money from a bank had been confronted by another man, who threw pepper in O’Connell’s eyes, a Wilson, and made off with the money. The police alleged O’Connell was in the plot, and that he actually did not receive any pepper in his eyes. Defendant was remanded. Bai! wasf allowed in the sum nf £lOOO.
