There have been New South Wales tourist and skiing parties marooned, they often being in peril, and baling to be rescued by search parties, who are using. snow p'oughs. One large party, bound for Mount Kosciusko, were trapped in the snow that was three feet deep. They suf fereld intense privation until sleds rescued them.
