The Creed ’teleprinter transnf’? by a typewriter, the characters being represented by a series of perforations on a continuous strip of paper. These dots, being contacted with little noodles, supply the elee 4 rical impulse that carries cho message and automat■ callv prints it in well spaced capitals at the receiving end on another continuous strip. This is ent into convenient lengths and pasted on th? telegraph message form. The installation of the Creed teleprinter will necessarily bring about a reduction in the staff of the operating branch, surplus members of which will be transferred to other branches. It will a'so involve some structural alterations to the Post Office building.
