Scott, second five-eighth, will bo unable to take his place in the West Coast team to play Canterbury to-day at Monica Park, Christchurch. in the Northern Union Cup match. He will be replaced♦ by A. Beban, who will play on the right wing, and J. Roberts will bo moved into centre, and H. Morris to second five-eighth. J. Dodds (back) and G. August (forward) are the emergencies. Canterbury is this year a strong side, particularly in the backs, but the West Coast thirteen is a formidable combination, ■with a heavy pack and a fast set of backs, and if the. West Coast win the ball from the scrums, as they should do, the Northern Union Cup should return to the West Coast its new-found home of 1933. A keen, fast open game is anticipated. Mr A. C.
