WRESTLING
WADE v. HOPKINS. (per Association). CHRISTCHURCH, August 1. In one of the sternest and cleanest bouts seen in Christchurch this year, Glenn Wade (Nebraska) beat George Hopkins (England) by a fall in the fifth round to-night. There was no showmanship, and the bout went the full distance, the audience showing keen appreciation of the closeness of the contest, and its swift changes of fortune.
