August 1 Though neither the Cit.v Council nor the Chamber of Commerce so far has been advised whether the Transport Co-ordination Board will consider at the next meeting a request for reconsideration of the decision to exclude Palmerston North from the route of Hie main passenger air services be•ween Auckland and Dunedin, both bodies will make arrangements tn hnpear before the board at the ear'iest possible opportunitv >to make vigorous representations that Palmerston be included. Representatives of th? chamber have assured the council tha/( full support will be given by husiness men. In that regard the Associated Chambers are also urging that Palmerston be included.
