NOTES. The Harbour Board last evening reported that the depth on the bar al high water yesterday was 23ft Biu. The Karepo arrived yesterday morning from Wellington and Lyttelton, via Westport, to complete loading limber for Melbourne and Adelaide. She is scheduled to sail at the week-end. The Poolta sailed last evening for Auckland. The Kartigi is due to-day from Auckland, via Portland, to load for We'lington. The Waipahi is due to-day from New Plymouth, ‘to load for Auckland and Pori land. The Kaitoa is duo to-day from Westport to load for Miramar, Wei lington and Petone. The Alexander is due to-day from Nelson,, to load coal tor Dargaville. The Titoki returns from New Plymouth, via, Westport, to-night to load coal for Tarakohe and Wanganui. Th a James Cook is due on Monday from Wanganui, with a quaniity of dredging machinery and hardwood. After discharge, she will load timbe*’ for Australian ports. The Kanna is due on Monday from W?stpont to complete loading for We ington, Gisborne. Napier, and New P’ymouth. The Abel Tasman is due on August 9 from Dunedin to load timber for Australia.
