CHILD DIES OF BURNS. (Per Press Association INVERCARGILL July 30. Severe burns on the face and knees resulted in the death of lan Fraacr the three-year-old son of S- L. Fraser, runho’der of Mossburn. The child was playing with two young brothers who set some tussocks alight, the flames igniting his clothing. SHIP’S ROCKET TRAGEDY. MELBOURNE, July 29. One boy was killed, another was critically injured, and four others were slightly injured, when a ship’s rocket, which they threw on a small fire in a vacant section at Williamstown, .a seaport suburb of Melbourne, exploded. The bov killed was Harold Tully, aged nine. The other was Keith Joseph, thirteen. Joseph is also likely to die.
