Falconer, who wa s approached with a view to standing for Dunedin Central (Sir Charles'Statham’s scat) in the interests of the Democrat Parity, has decided not to aec-ep't nomination. Rev. L. B. Neale, mentioned as a likely candidate for Dunedin Central, has announced that ho will not bo a candidate. He says he feels (that it is his duty to remain with his Church and his flock.
