CIVIC FAREWELL Wellington Gatherings (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON. July 29. Some 1200 citizens joined in a civic fa.rewell to the All Blacks at Wel’mgton Town Hall to-day. The Afayor,. Air T. C. A. Hislop, introduced the members of the team individually to the audience. Councillor AT. F. Luckie, on behalf of the cricketers of t'he Dominion, joined with the Mayor in wishing the 'team success. Messrs Aferedith and Manchester replied. 'Earlier in the dav the team nnd the union officials wore the guests, a,* afternoon tea. of the acting Prime Minister Sir A. Ransom, in his office at Parliament House. Other Afinisters present were Sir A. Young, Afessrs Macmillan and Bitchener. To-night the members of the team wore present a:t a ball given by the Wellington Coßego Old Boys in honour of B. S. Sad'er.
