RAIN SAVE GLAMORGAN. LONDON, June 11. Rain fell at lunch, and the match between the South African cricketers and Glamorgan -was abandoned as a draw. After three wickets had fallen rapidly, Smart enabled Glamorgan to make a remarkable recovery by hold spectacular hitting, Hughes playing for the first time ' for Glamorgan assisted in a brilliant display. The pair scored 100 in 44 minutes. Scores:— Smart and Hughes added 131 in sixty minutes, breaking Glamorgan’s last wicket record. Smart reached a hundred in ninety-five minutes, he hit three sixers.
