Duke of Gloucester Cup PRESENTATION TO N.Z. CONFERENCE. AUCKLAND, June 12. A particularly fine silver cup, presented by the Duke of Gloucestre to the New Zealand Racing Conference, has arrived in Auckland from England. It was designed and made by Walker and Hall, of Sheffield, and will shortly be forwarded to Marton Jockey Club. The presentation of the cup was announced by the Duke after he had ridden in the race for gentlemen riders at the Marton Jockey Club’s meeting last summer, and he asked that a race for the cup should be held annually at the club’s summer meeting. The cup is of exceptionally fine design, and has the coat of arms of ! His Royal Highness engraved on it.
