FIRST BIRTHDAY. (Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.) CALLAND'EIh (Ontario). May 28. World greetings poured in on the Dionne quintuplets to-day on the occasion of their first birthday. Doctor Dafoe, Hon. Davis Croll (Child Welfare Minister) ami nurses atleuded a party at the hospital. In an international broadcast, the quintuplets gurgled into a microphone. A thanksgiving Mass was celebrated in a nearby church. “Everybody fine,’’ said the mother, “but 1 will continue the campaign to have the babies turned over to me.”
