CORRESPONDENCE
YE OLDE FIRM!
(To the Editor.) Sir, —I see the old company are going to reappear before the New Zealand public in the near future under a new title. The play, I understand, is now to be called “National.” The two star artists are at the other side of the world at present rehearsing, and getting tips from some of the oil stagers at Home. No doubt we shall be treated to some real up-to-date “gags” but the public, will be asked to swallow the whole issue hashed up once more for them. The naniA of
II the play has been changed a good 1 many times.—Reform, Liberal, United, Coalition, etc. Do they think they can continue to bury their past in this ashion every time they have to face the footlights? They have just copied the name they have chosen this time. The question for the New Zealand people to decide is whether a mere change of name entitles them an encore.—l am. etc., _ . . TIM JACKSON.
